ApresLabs Ltd was established in 2011 by Dr Graham Moores, with the objective of addressing the challenge of pesticide resistance. In pursuit of this aim, he has developed expertise in synergists, facilitating the use of insecticides at reduced concentrations while maintaining equivalent efficacy, thereby yielding significant environmental benefits.

 Dr Moores holds a PhD in biochemistry and has devoted over 40 years to investigating the biochemical foundations of insecticide resistance. Throughout this period, he has emerged as a preeminent authority in this field, contributing over 50 peer-reviewed publications, securing 10 patents, and overseeing numerous successful PhD projects. 

As one of the few biochemists specialising in this area, Dr Moores has been frequently invited to present at both national and international conferences. Furthermore, he has contributed articles to popular journals and made appearances on television and radio.
